It’s March, How Are Those Resolutions Coming?
a firm decision to do or not to do something
the act or process of resolving (break up; deal with successfully or clear up)
comes from Latin word ‘resolvere,’ to loosen, undo, settle
”A firm decision to do or not to do something.”
Simple as that really.
When it comes time for the New Year and all the resolution jazz- I am personally refreshed. You can’t deny the fact that it’s pretty neat to not only see but feel the world reflecting on the past while choosing to move forward and, well, try again.
Everyone has their opinions about how the year went. You have the friend who said it was a shit year, another whom doesn’t even care to acknowledge the ‘New Year, New Me BS,’ and there’s the one friend that is like me sort of smack dab in the middle. You see, I enjoy making lists of goals and aspirations ALL THE TIME. So its sort of another day in the life of Sydmo. Regardless, the calendar is starting from the beginning once more and we are being given another ‘365 days’ of opportunity.
The Dictionary definition sure is intriguing because it is undeniably true: each day we are either going to make the choice to do something, or we’re not. We face these decisions daily, we get the chance every damn day. So it’s March, almost April, and I challenge you to try again, keep going or simply make the choice today.
Today is worth it.
You are worth it.
Get out there and start living.
Get out there.
Start living, love.
